Unboxing and quick look at the Honor View 20
The Honor View 20 is the newest flagship smartphone from Honor and as one would expect, it sports top-notch features wrapped in a slick body. This includes a 48MP camera and a ‘punch-hole’ front camera design that eliminates the need for a notch. But before we get to that, let’s take a quick look at what you get with the phone itself. Inside the box you get an adapter, a SIM eject tool and and a transparent cover for the phone as well. A cover is really handy as the last thing you would want to do is scratch or damage your new phone. Coming to phone itself, the device sports a dual-rear camera setup at the back, but it isn’t your traditional setup. One is a 48MP unit, while the other is a ToF (Time of Flight) 3D sensor. The ToF 3D Sensors brings with it a bunch of new and interesting features. First off, it helps improve the focusing speed of the camera. It also enables beauty and shaping modes that enables you to make your pictures look just the way you want them to. Further, It helps to take better photos in Portrait Mode and enables Portrait Lighting Mode. Coming to the front of the phone, the devices sports a 25MP front camera that is located inside a small hole in a corner of the display. This eliminated the need for the notch, which has become very common among current generation smartphones. The front as well as the rear camera also boast of AI features that help you take better images. Other features of the phone include a large 6.4-inch 19.5:9 display with a resolution of 1080 x 2310 pixels. It is powered by a 7nm HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage. The phone also packs a 4000mAh battery. Of course, one also has to take into consideration the design of the Honor View 20. Honor’s flagship devices tend to offer impressive designs and the View 20 is no different.
